I just ordered the go no go gauge from Aircraft Spruce for checking my nicopress sleeves but I have a few questions. The tool I bought is from Princess Auto and is not an actual nicopress brand. I have been reading a lot about swaging and wondering if others have used sleeves/tools/ gauges that are not all from the same company. If you use the gauge and the fitting is in the correct slot does it really matter if you use a matching tool? I know that is the common thought but is that just because of liability issues for the companies because of use on certified aircraft ? I want my cables to be safe but also don't want to spend a small fortune on a tool I will only use a few times. The gauge should arrive by the end of the week or on Monday so I will try a test fit first but would appreciate thoughts on this issue. Thanks Bob R
