Netters,
With the help of Jeff Banks (a local A&P/IA) , I got the mags installed and timed this morning, buttoned things up, and started the engine. Success!!!! One little glitch. I had removed the return hose from the air/oil separator to install the mags and forgot to put it back on. After a minute or so Jeff noticed oil dribbling from the accessory case. Shut it down, installed the hose, and fired it back up. If weather is favorable tomorrow it will fly !!!!!!
Thanks to Jeff Scott, Mark Langford, and others, that provided knowledge and advise for my first time ever to split the case and overhaul an engine. THANK YOU............
