The level line on the digital phone will only show the local level, not an
artificial horizon. So, might be used as a turn coordinator.
The magnetic compass works ok. My iPhone darkens the display after a few
seconds to conserve internal battery power.

Do you have an iPhone? Did you know it has a digital compass on it? Did you
know the second page is a digital level? Did you know that if you mount the
iPhone in a vertical position on your panel and open the digital level it
can e used as an artificial horizon? Awesome!
