Steve Bennett at well over 6ft. didn't fit comfortably in most KR's and talked Ken Cottle into selling his KR-1½ (mine currently) to him so that he'd have a comfortable KR to attend Gatherings with. Ken is also a lanky guy who built the plane with plenty of leg room. To this day Cottle can't figure out how Steve talked him into selling his plane :-) So yeah . . . KR's can be built to suit any person and any purpose. As Owen said recently, that's one reason the design is still going strong after 50 years.
