Steve Bennett at well over 6ft. didn't fit comfortably in most KR's and
talked Ken Cottle into selling his KR-1½ (mine currently) to him so that
he'd have a comfortable KR to attend Gatherings with. Ken is also a
lanky guy who built the plane with plenty of leg room. To this day
Cottle can't figure out how Steve talked him into selling his plane :-)

So yeah . . . KR's can be built to suit any person and any purpose. As
Owen said recently, that's one reason the design is still going strong
after 50 years. It's so easy to adapt it to the builder's desires.

For those who know/knew Marty Roberts . . . now would be a good time to
check in with him and say hello.
