2950 rpm is what I got out of mine. I got this from watching fuel flow, MAP, and RPM levels on takeoff from several EIS data files from one of the times that I flew the 2700cc engine with the Sensenich 54x54 on it. See http://www.n56ml.com/corvair/eis_runs/211_WBL_return.xls if you have Excel and want to download it (line 185 and a few points past that) or http://www.n56ml.com/corvair/eis_runs/211_WBL_return.jpg for a snipit of data from that typical takeoff.

It's worth mentioning that the 3100cc engine in a bit of a dive could turn this same prop up to 4000 rpm something like 220 mph, which is why I ended up happiest with a Sensy 54x58 for the 3100cc. I think the 54x54 Sensy is perfect for the 2700cc engine....certainly the best I ever tested on my plane, which is at least 20 different props. It's the best combination of climb and speed, with just about the best of both worlds.
