I am not sure what was meant to be said but there is a typo in here somewhere. 
West System Epoxies are very much a structural epoxy. It is true that they were 
originally designed for the marine application which can be even more stressful 
than aviation applications. You can visit their web site, or Aircraft Spruce, 
or Wicks to get a lot of information on it. I am pretty sure that if you called 
West and informed them they were not selling a structural resin they could 
probably explain it to you.
