Most of the heat related failures I’m aware of on plastic brake lines were on 
Varieze, Longeze types or other types that rely on Brake steering. Usually guys 
doing high speed taxi tests over and over. In quite a few instances the brake 
area got hot enough to soften the resin in the bottom of the landing gear and 
twisted or bent out of shape. I helped repair one of those once, what a giant 
mess!!
