Has anyone ever measured static thrust?
I just got back from airport measured static thrust.
couple of tow straps a large fish type scale (up to 350 lbs)
field elevation: 7300 feet
engine Soob EA81 turbo, NSI turbo pistons and their "hot" cam, Ellison
EFS-3A
reduction belt drive is 2:1 (?)
prop 60" 3 blade warp drive, 12 or 13 degrees pitch at tips
Ran it up to 4500 rpm (prop 2250?)
Got reading on scales about 100 - 110 lbs
