I’m in! (depending on costs of course :-). I lived in NZ for a year and looked into shipping a plane there - facilitated by two local (and independent from each other) guys that make a business of shipping used aircraft to AU/NZ, etc. Shipping only cost for one plane was ~ $3,000 each way. Its would have made financial sense if I could have pre-arranged a buyer there - but that was more than I could put together with available time. Being able to split the container costs with 4 to 6 planes would really help.
Alternatively, I just joined a flying club. While rental costs were a bit higher than here, they were a lot less than shipping costs. Flying with a local club came with the bonus of meeting a lot of great pilots eager to go flying (and who I count as friends 5 years and half a world later!)
