I have not posted for some time. I am fitting the tail plane. I had cable elevators and did not like the feel from the pilot seat. So pulled it all out and made all push rods (as I did with my current flying KR2). As the 2ss is longer in the fuselage I did not like the length of the elevator pushrod. So I took the Mooney idea and made a idler in the middle to stop slop or movement. At Oshkosh I purchased a number of bell crank bearing and used them to made a bell crank at the the rear bulk head then a short pushrod to elevator. ( as per my kr2 and Mark Langford counter balance). Thanks again Mark. I have a mate, who is a aircraft structural engineer on metal and timber looking at my design for a removal fin, so I can then leave the H/S removable as well. I will endeavour to add a photo or two and post the link I now have. Complete air frame with engine, controls. I really only need to make the cowl
