Can anyone advise what are the import requirements for someone to purchase an Amateur Built (Experimental) type , Canadian registered plane and re-register it in the US? Specifically, is there a “minimum number of hours flown “ requirement to prove out the plane before it can be considered for registration ? In Canada we have a 100 hour requirement for the import of any amateur built that cannot be dismantled for inspection ( in critical areas such as spars etc.). Wondering if that requirement is the same going south? Thanks for any and all advice. Regards Chris Gardiner
