I assume "reply all" doesn't work? And then delete KRnet from the list?
Although most recipients are able to see the full address of the
originator, some don't. It's a function of how you get your email and
through what client software. There are several settings that control
what happens to the originator's email address in a posted message, and
there are compromises involved as to which setting is implemented by the
list owner (me, or the KRnet group, perhaps). I think most folks have
visibility into the original poster's address, and this is a pretty rare
topic of conversation. If somebody says "contact me offlist", one would
hope they would put their email address in the post! I know Outlook and
Thunderbird (a free email client that I use) have no problem displaying
and accessing KRnet "reply to sender" addresses. Somebody who is better
versed in Mailman than I am is welcome to chime in, but what I've
learned over the years is that all the variability in ISPs, email
clients, software, list settings, etc is enough to keep Sherlock Holmes
tied up forever trying to find the answer to a particular problem like
that. I've tweaked most of the Mailman settings several times, and have
left it in a place where I get the fewest complaints.

It's worth mentioning that one of the "list rules" is to please put your
name, email address and at least some idea of where you live in your
signature. Unfortunately, the rules aren't worth the electrons they are
written on, and hardly anybody follows them, especially the part about
trimming away the excess post below the message to which one is
responding. But given this issue, it would seem prudent for folks to
put their email addresses in their signatures, especially if they want
replies to be made offlist.

Let me know offline which client you are using, and at least I'll have
that data point. My email address is in my signature, sort of....
