There is another trick you might try that I've not done but have fixed
other problems with cracked resin in glass such as spider web cracks in
an unpainted damaged wing tip. In the case of a bubble you might try
putting a pinhole in the bubble and applying heat to soften the resin
and press the bubble flat and cool to harden the resin. Apply the heat
slowly until the resin softens. Just don't apply so much heat as to
blister the paint if the surface is painted. In the case of the damaged
wing tip I held a flexible backing plate to hold the shape and applied
heat until the cracks disappeared.
