I have the plywood template for the tri-gear KR-2 based on the Diehl gear leg size. This is the wrong template for the tail dragger version, nor the KR-2S.

I have a couple fiberglass gear legs and have been looking through the archives for reference I seem to remember about a diagram or template to cut them down.
Does any recall that? If so could you point me to that please?

Bob,

I'm surprised you haven't gotten a reply from someone with a Diehl gear
leg lying around. I have a rough drawing but no dimensions. If I can
find it back I have a temple I made years ago. If I locate it I'll give
you a duplicate or the dimensions. Are you looking to use the legs on a
KR2 or a 2s? Diehl legs for the KR2 are 24" but Jeff Scott and I went
with 30" legs for our stretched KR. With my 24" stretch and a tall
tailwheel the 30" leg works fine for me.
