Hello Netters, word out today is that the FAA plans to make instructing in experimental aircraft illegal even for owners receiving instruction in their own homebuilt aircraft. EAA is on it trying to fix the problem. As for our position, we are committed to providing an aircraft to the KR Community for Demo Rides and will work on getting a letter of deviation authorization (LODA). With a LODA we won’t have to worry about whether or not we can give instruction in the aircraft. I’m sure that if you are getting a demo ride from me or any of the other KR pilots that will be flying this airplane you will get a chance to fly the aircraft.
