This is what you get when the sales guys run the world... My guess would
be that 60% of the price you pay for anything is for sales costs (...
did you know that your warranty is about to expire on your [pick your
device]?) Of course you want fries with that, right?
My tactic is simple... when I am bombarded by the same sales message
more than twice in one day, over a week, I make a note of the product
and make a point not to buy it.... call it the anti-marketing response.
Won't happen overnight, but if everyone does it, we might all be
pleasantly surprised (if I live long enough!).
When you get a survey, respond with 1's or 2's... eventually, they (the
survey people's customers, like Walmart, etc. ... [they are using
sales/marketing tools and the people that manage the process make 6
figures - do you?]) will go away. Be as aggressive as you would be with
a cross wind landing. As a friend of mine used to say 30 or 40 years
ago... go for it: God hates a coward. As usual, JMHO, and YRMV.
Let's give them the Revlon experience.

I flew to Mt.Vernon for breakfast with several flying buddies, all
slower than my KR. 😁 When I went to shut down my tablet used for
navigation after re-charging this afternoon a question popped up on
the screen. "How was Bonnie Cafe"? My IFLY software was programed to
the airport, not the cafe. There is enough "sharing" between software
that it assumed I went to Bonnie Cafe and asked me to rate it. Damn
scary if you ask me. I'm going to start turning off the light when I
