Stef,

It takes some rather aggressive flying to pull 3 G's.  What types of maneuvers are you doing?  The only way to know what your bird will handle is to test it but you certainly don't want to test it to destruction.  You know you're safe to 3 G's at 1150 so if you stay below that in the future you know you're safe. To test for higher G's you'd want to wear a chute but what's your chance of getting out of the plane in case of failure?  If you have a forward tip canopy chances are slim.

If you built you KR to plans you're probably safe enough.  I think they will find things in the SA crash that are out of the envelope.
