I think I've mentioned  several times in past posts that at the10 hour mark in testing I was motoring along at altitude and noticed all my electrical gauges going "flop, flop" and then to zero". I simply flipped one of the switches on the red panel on the bottom center of the instrument panel to keep the fuel pumps running and flew to the nearest airport.

The problem turned out to be a broken connection on the circuit breaker for the master switch that I was able to find with two meter checks having complete schematics for every circuit in the KR.  My KR, like any machine, has not been maintenance free but I've never had an in flight failure "of consequence".  A radio failure on one flight but I used my cell phone to call the tower, battery failure in my noise cancelling headset, little things that are annoying but not critical.

In 800 hours in the KR and 500 hours in the Tripacer I've never had a problem that caused me to cancel a flight or stranded me away from home base, not even a flat tire.  Lucky or what?
