Buy a set of plans from Jeanette like the rest of us have. Support her as she has us over the decades. If you can't afford the plans then chances are you won't be able to afford to build. I'm surprised you apparently haven't yet contacted her. In Australia, no serial number means no registration plate means no insurance means flight is illegal. The take home message is do it once from the start and follow the rules like the rest of us to avoid issues down the track.
