Been reading the mail on the above topics.
Glover has had a notice that his biz is for sale for some time now - I
don't recall for sure what the asking price was,
but it seems like I heard around $20K or so for the (rights ??) and
inventory he has (no idea how big or small).
He was selling plans and books, but I don't know if it was thru Jeanette
or if he had/has originals to copy,
and I don't know whether those aspects are included in his offering to
sell it all.
I pulled up his site and it says, /"//All KR related components,
inventory, and tooling are for sale. Contact us for more details. //
//NO tire kickers! We will continue to provide parts and support for the
KR series until a new compatible owner is identified."
/There is an 800 number shown in his ad, but it may be dead now. His

/We all know that getting parts, let alone contacting him is nigh
impossible, therefore he is not a sure source for most who are looking.
I did learn from him that he's into a different part of the aircraft biz
now - avionics, I think it is, but that was a year ago or more.
I think he is still operating out of the Chino airport in Calif. He's
not a bad guy but has a short fuse and was disappointed in us cheapo
homebuilders in the KR group for not buying much if anything from him.
I thought his prices were too high overall.
Baca worked for him for a while (forget his first name now... Marc??)
but he left and is doing composite work elsewhere.
He might be a point of contact with Glover if nothing else works.
All the above is assuming you might want to maintain the pure KR stuff
and design. If you have other thinking, then disregard any or all
of the above.
I hope you, or someone, can and will pick up the ball on this even
though I am too old to be affected. I sorta thought Langford might do it
someday, but suspect he likes to fly too much to tie himself down with
an operation demanding time and effort.
