So after watching this video about the Mooney driver I bought what he suggested. The Sensorcon CO inspector model INS2-CO-01. They just came out with the AV8 Inspector that I suspect is the same thing. ANYWHO, I was disappointing. The Alarm tone was weak and the 4 flashing LEDs are only visible if your looking at it straight on. Its for sale on Ebay if anyone wants it. I just replaced it with the KIDDE FireX CO detector. Available at the Home Depot airplane store. It's LOUD and I am mounting at the base of the windscreen in my 172 facing right at me. The green LED flashes to let you know its on and the red LED flashes during test and actual alarm.
