thanks Mark, So as I am reading it the rear of the canopy is the area being lifted in flight so in my 3d imagination I am visualizing a strap affair above and outside the bulk of the canopy structure, built into and not protruding, terminating at the bottom on both sides with "live or die" quality latches..,.
It could literally be a steel strap band like those used on crates embedded into the outside of the structure, or something esoteric like carbon fiber or kevlar, but terminated so it cannot escape that never die latch. Thanks Jg
