You might well be correct as I made that statement without any personal
2 cycle experience other than on a Challenger project that I never
finished and never did get the 503 started / running to any degree of
success. That and the numerous off airport landings by friends of mine
flying 2 strokes. Given that you might counter with Langford's 3 off
airport landings and the Deer Slayer in the cow pasture, and ,
and.............
Realistically most engines are as reliable as you treat them and
maintain them.
