Another very nice advantage to buying a relatively inexpensive Experimental is, unlike rental or shared-use aircraft . . . you never have to wonder how the previous pilot treated the plane or just what they did. Obviously it works . . . rentals and shared airplanes . . . . I rented for years before I ever bought an airplane and I can't remember any particular problems but still, it's just so nice to know when getting into the cockpit it was left exactly as it was left the last time you closed it up.
