Hi everyone, I appreciate you guys are working away in the background on the Freebird plans - I am excited about the prospect of an up-to-date, freely available, set of plans. I know these things always take much longer than expected and I don't mean to hassle anyone. Would it be okay to ask for a brief update on the status of the Freebird plans ?
Another question for you - if a new builder is considering starting to build a "KR2 like" aircraft should they sit tight and wait for the release of the freebird plans or could they get started on some part of the aircraft ? For instance could they start building wings using the new aerofoil shape or will the wings on freebird be different ? Would it be better to start on the boat, tail or some other part of the plane ? Given that aircraft take many years for most of us to build, could someone make a start on the project now without finding out down the track that the freebird plans are radically different and they have to start again ?
