Rich, I often thought about that too. One problem is that polyurethane foam is about 2#/cu ft, while NidaCore is closer to 5#/cu ft. But for small parts, like maybe a seat back or mounting shelf, it might be easier to fabricate than foam. Definitely less dust, though. And you probably wouldn't need the layer of micro under it.
