No. Never did. I love the nose wheel attitude on the ground. Makes life real simple.
Mark Jones ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++An real difficulties or major challenges in the ground handling of a "tail wheel" setup should more properly be blamed on a bad setup or piloting skills and not on the physical setup of the gear. I had 13 total tail wheel hours when I started testing / flying (800 hours) 211LF and after the first few hours I would forget I was flying a tail wheel set up and not a tri-gear. There is very little difference in flying either set up. Keep the nose pointed in the direction of travel. In my aviation career I think I've actually seen more nose dragger airplanes messed up (landing / takeoff) then tail draggers. Anyone flying a nose dragger "correctly" should have no trouble flying a well setup tail dragger.
