Good evening gentlemen, looking for a little insight. I rebuilt the top end of
a 2100 D Revmaster new cylinders, pistons rings new heads assembled it and did
a leak down test and they’re all between 75/80 and 76/80 flown it for 5.2
Hours, ran very well, it has been a hanger queen for the past 3 years, with no
time on it since the original 5.2 due to flying commercially. So I dusted off
the wings and went to work, have been giving it a thorough check over, started
with a leakdown, failed miserably!!! One cylinder at 20/80 10/80 64/80 66/80.
One low cylinder leaks out the exhaust, and the other out the intake.
Am I missing something here, and yes, TDC, even pulled the rocker assembly off
valves are closed.
Carbon under the valve seats? Substandard parts? Let me know your thoughts,
thks in advance.
