Sometimes life changes get in the way and make us change our plans.
Last night our house went under a sales contract after being on the
market for a few months. Unfortunately the closing date set by the
buyer is Sept 9th. Due to the closing and having to move, there is
just no way I can make it to the Gathering this year. I am bummed
about not being able to be there!!!

That is very disappointing news. We'll miss your smiling face and not
getting to see your new bird. I have to admit though, in my 35 years of
attending Gatherings, that is one of the more novel reasons given for
not attending. 🙂 Good luck on the sale and move.
