Dear community members:

I am the writer for the Solaris basic and advanced system administration
guides
that contain shell, user environment, and site initialization file
information. For OpenSolaris 2010.02, I am tasked
with updating existing content for bourne and C shells with
newer shell information, in particular bash, ksh93,
and possibly zsh, and tcsh.

Currently, I have no engineering contact to assist me
with the updates, which would include a review of the content
(approximately 20 pages) and guidance on
replacing the older shell content with
information for those shells that are newer
and supported in OpenSolaris.

I need some assistance from someone who
is very familiar with these changes, so I can get the changes
made in time for the next release. This is one of about
20 changes that are required for the books to bring them
up-to-speed, so time is an issue for me.

Here's the link to the book/sections that need to be updated:

Please send email to me directly, since I am not yet on this discuss

Thank you in advance for any and all help with this
project.
