A few days ago I came across this kick-ass transimpedance amplifier for a DAC.
Previous circuits have been either lame (see 50 ohm resistor hanging off the grid as IV converter), or Expen$ive (see audionotekits.com, their dac uses a pair of $100 transformers ).
