It looks like the glitch in the current version of diode is triggered
when it is started up in forward bias. If you start it up reversed
biased, it works for a while until you put too much signal on it and
it'll latch up and become useless. =*(

This is a major bug and even though it's entirely my fault, I'd greatly
appreciate any help in figuring out exactly why the code is behaving as
it is now.

Diode, and more specifically Nonlinear, is the base class of *ALL*
discreet semiconductors, so it really must be debugged! =0
