We have some custom scripts we would like to pass into the bastion servers in our private topology using the userdata of the launch config. However, we are managing the cluster with kops so any updates to the bastion instance group creates a new launch config. Is there a means to pass in additional userdata to the instance group that kops would then append to its own userdata to register the server?
