We’re proud to announce support for Kubernetes 1.6.2 in the Canonical
Distribution of Kubernetes. This includes the latest upstream release of
Kubernetes and several fixes to the Kubernetes Charm which are used to help
operate and manage Kuberenetes.

Here’s the simplest way to get a Kubernetes 1.6.2 cluster up and running:

# linux
sudo snap install conjure-up --classic
conjure-up kubernetes

# macOS
brew install conjure-up
conjure-up kubernetes

For those looking to upgrade from 1.5.x or an earlier 1.6, check out
upgrade documentation for how to proceed: http://bit.ly/cdk-upgrade

We've got the full release notes documented here: http://bit.ly/cdk-162
