Anybody seen `kubectl get pods` start to have a very high latency on GKE? We have several projects running a dozen or so nodes. Typically `kubectl get pods` will take a couple of seconds.
This seems to be something at the API server level: we make other direct calls to the API server and some of those start to time out. It's not entirely uniform: `kubectl get nodes` is still quick. Since GOOG runs the master, we have (AFAICT) no visibility into what's going on the master. We did destroy, incrementally, all the nodes in the cluster. That seemed to shrink the latency from > 30s to > 10s but that's still way higher and we're still seeing some API clients fail. We had this happen on one GCP project and then resolve as mysteriously as it started. But know it's occurring on another. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Kubernetes user discussion and Q&A" group.
