Hi,

currently I am using Kubernetes (v 1.7.4) to deploy a Lagom microservices
application. Each service is represented by a statefulset with a RollingUpdate
update strategy.

I read in this documentation
(https://kubernetes.io/docs/tutorials/stateful-application/basic-stateful-set/#rolling-update)
that, with a RollingUpdate strategy, there is no need to manually delete each
pod to trigger an update. Meaning that only a patch command is enough.
Still, I still have to do so in my case.

Did any of you experience this issue before?

Thanks.
