hello,

i've tried setuping a local cluster and after a lot of trial and error that
worked well for 1.7.5.
but my current employer is interested into kubernetes contributions, so
i've tried building and running the most recent github maste,r so that i
can try to understand the project upstream.

ATM i'm experiencing a "Unable to update cni config: No networks found in
/etc/cni/net.d" on Ubuntu 17.04 and it if i try to remove the CNI
parameters from the kubelet command line:
--network-plugin=cni --cni-conf-dir=/etc/cni/ --cni-bin-dir=/opt/cni/bin
the pods from the kube-system namespace remain scheduled / pending but
never start.

as described here:
https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/issues/48798#issuecomment-330521226

does anyone has any idea why this can happen?

thanks
