I have noticed an issue with deploying and managing mysql on kubernetes .
Although this is a test environment I noticed that when I deploy a mysql 5
image to the cluster all works well for about 3 weeks .I try to access my db
and I find out that I can't.
I keep seeing errors like unable to access the db .Meanwhile it is actually
running in the cluster .The database files seem to be there because if I delete
the deployment and try to reinstall it again it says can't initialize db
because data directory already exists. This has happened to me three times
where I uninstall and reinstall again 3 weeks later I see the same issues come
up .I have no idea what the issue is .Any thoughts or suggestions would be
appreciated .
