Same issue here. This is the core of KDE's collaborative centralized storage
strategy for groupware. I've been banging my head against this one for some
time now.
The GUI window says this:
"No writable resource was found, saving will not be possible. Reconfigure KMail
first."
"kcmshell kresources" crashes when adding a new IMAP Storage (as instructed at
http://people.fruitsalad.org/phil/kde/userguide-tng/kontact-imap-clients.html)
