Comment: So far, I can not reproduce the gnome-panel crash in Dapper but I can reproduce the thing mentioned in the second part of my last post. After being logged in in KDE, logging out and logging in to Gnome, Gnome uses Qt instead of Clearlooks. It is not possible to change this via the Gnome Theme Chooser, you have to remove some configuration files. The same applies for selecting Qt in the Gnome Theme Chooser. You can select it but you can not go back easily. This bug makes it nearly impossible to switch between KDE and Gnome at the same installation and it is a must fix for Dapper.
