Hi all

I've had the same Problem with the marvell yukon (skge on eth0).
Had exactly the same error when i used kcontrol to configure the network
device. The only thing i could add was a default gateway.

But after looking at /etc/network/interfaces i saw that kcontrol added the
default gw entry for eth1 instead of eth0.

Then i deleted the eth1 entries added by kcontrol and changed all my eth0
entries to eth1.

Rebooted and it works fine for the first look.

Network is up and running and can now be reconfigured at kcontrol.

Hope this workaround helps.

Have a nice day!
