I tested, and it doesn't work. But I don't know if autodetecting it is actually possible???
It works fine to select danish chars in the live-installer, but how can the user know that.. Anyway, maybe there should be a prompt asking which language/charset you use... only problem is it takes some simplicity out of the live cd.
