Kubuntu uses kde-guidance for managing services and does not ship ksysv (but it
provides it in the archives).
Do you manually install ksysv that you would need this bug to be fixes?
I have closed this as Rejected as this should be fixed upstream and then
included into Kubuntu as updated KDE 3.5.x release.
