To be honest, I'm not sure how frozen it was. I don't think it was responding to Caps/Numlock. However, i just booted in to the livecd and then rebooted, and everything worked properly. I've checked the ISO and the CD, and it was a good burn of a good ISO.
If it helps at all, the system had partly frozen the same day in the livecd session. I had unplugged a USB mouse and X became unresponsive. I could move the mouse, but there was no response to clicks, and nothing highlighted as I moved over icons/buttons/etc. I was able to Ctrl-Alt-Fx to terminals, but if I typed in a command nothing would happen, and I couldn't Ctrl-C out of any of the commands, such as ps -ef to see what was going on. On the bright side, i was able to install the system cleanly from the LiveCD. -- LiveCD freeze when trying to reboot (Kubuntu Dapper Flight 7) https://launchpad.net/bugs/43718 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
