Hi Pascal, this is mostly likely not the i810 driver at fault, but for
some reason not getting the parameters from the monitor to know what
resolutions it is capable of.
Please can you include the output of:
sudo xresprobe i810
sudo vbetool vbefp panelsize
sudo ddcprobe
