Binary package hint: kmail
After installing kmail on Ubuntu Edgy mail is not able to be sent.
Opening kmail from the console and watching the output the following
shows up
kmail: ERROR: : couldn't create slave : Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Unknown protocol 'smtp'.
Installing kdebase-kio-plugins fixes this. kdebase-kio-plugins should
be included as a dependancy of kmail. smtp is not always needed for
sending mail but if it is an option in kmail the resource should be
included with it.
