This is actually a design which is applicable to all Last.fm players. They will
not scrobble (submit) any stream based plays. This is incentive to encourage
players to buy more tracks.
You could try to use the last.fm "play artists like" feature to find artists
with a similar style in last.fm and make your tastes known.
