In the meantime I noticed that Knotify displayed an error in a window in the 
background ...
(I think that such breaking messages should pop up to foreground).

a) Text of first rider cannot be copied, it reads that KNotify cannot backtrace 
or reports a problem concerning itself (Knotify).
b) The next rider (Karteireiter, Karteikarte), displays a list of msgs:
