No problem ;) Yes, the fact that you're using a single folder would explain a lot. The expire function will work *if I refresh the folder first* by clicking on the folder and letting it load all the headers. But if I just do an expire all folders from the menu, then it fails. So I guess maybe the best way to state this is that expire fails for folders that haven't been refreshed, even though kmail shows the proper number of mail entries.
Maybe it doesn't know what the dates are for each mail until the headers are refreshed, but only the total number of mails in a folder?
