The Hardy installation goes without a hitch. Got all of the updates,
too. But when I plug in my Epson Perfection 1650 USB flatbed scanner,
Hardy Heron doesn't acknowledge it. At all. Also, Kooka tells me that
"No Scanner Was Found. Your System Does Not Provide a SANE installation.
Please Install and Configure SANE correctly on your system." I was
hoping for out-of-the-box scanner functionality. Hoping a solution is in
the works :)
